The Truth About Mc'Donald's

It would be fair to assume that there are three ingredients in McDonald’s French fries:  potatoes, oil, and salt.  But if you assumed that you’d be far from correct.
McDonald’s began a transparency campaign which was intended to market a more health conscious image of McDonald’s Corp. and utilize social media more effectively. However, instead of talking about their love for the brand, the hashtag became a forum for people to talk about how disgusting the food is.
(Make sure you don’t miss the video at the end of this article and share this with your friends and family who still eat this stuff to wake them up!)
McDonald’s recently released a McRib video attempting to convince consumers that it’s not as bad for you as it seems, but they failed to talk about the toxic ingredients discussed in this article.
Furthermore, it turns out that there are 17 ingredients in MickeyD’s French fries!  They contain:
-Potatoes: (So far so good…until you watch the eye-opening video below)
-Canola oil: Genetically Modified (GMO)
-Hydrogenated soybean oil: Again, GMO! Plus the hydrogenation process makes the oil even more unhealthy than it would be in its natural form.
-Safflower oil: The root cause of most diseases is inflammation. One of the quickest ways to become inflamed is by eating too much Omega-6 fatty acids and not enough Omega-3’s. Safflower oil contains a high level of Omega-6’s (10073 mg per tbsp) and absolutely no Omega-3’s! Learn more by following this link.
-”Natural flavor”: McDonald’s natural flavor is apparently obtained from a vegetable source, but the “natural” moniker means nothing since it can even potentially contain the nerve- and brain-toxin monosodium glutamate (MSG).
-Dextrose: a type of sugar.
-Sodium acid pyrophosphate: This ingredient is apparently used to maintain the color of the fries.  On the chemical industry’s own safety data sheets it is listed as hazardous for ingestion. It causes inflammation and over-consumption leads to elevated blood phosphorus levels, which may contribute to osteoporosis.
-Citric acid: Does that mean they’re using lemon juice? Perhaps in a perfect world, but it’s likely that they’re taking the more profitable road like their corporate brothers and using GMO black moldFollow this link to learn more.
-Dimethylpolysiloxane: You’ll find this in almost any fried fast food menu item and also in silly putty, contact lenses, caulking, shampoo and conditioners, cosmetics, polishes, heat resistant tiles, and the list goes on… Learn more about Dimethylpolysiloxane by following this link.
-Vegetable oil for frying: which is a blend of 7 ingredients, including:  canola oil (GMO), corn oil (GMO), soybean oil (GMO), hydrogenated soybean oil with tert-butylhydroquinone (GMO), citric acid (GMO), and dimethylpolysiloxane.  We discussed most of these ingredients above.

-TBHQ: A petroleum-based preservative.  It has been linked to asthma, skin conditions, hormone disruption, and in long-term animal studies to cancer and damage to DNA. This additive can be found in 18 McDonald’s menu items. It’s potentially lethal, but don’t worry, the FDA says it’s generally regarded as safe (GRAS). Learn more about TBHQ here: The Petroleum Byproduct You Are Most Likely Eating.
Contrary to what McDonald’s may claim in its slogan, I’m NOT lovin’ it!
In the video below, Michael Pollan, author of the The New York Times top five bestselling book, “Cooked”, tells a horrifying story about how McDonald’s French fries are made. If you don’t have much time skip ahead to 3:10 in the video and prepare to be shocked.

The TRUTH about your toothpaste, with PROOF!

For many years now, I have stopped using the standard Colgate or Macleans toothpaste that invades your eyesight in the toothpaste section of the local supermarket.  Rows and rows of different variety, different packaging, different coloured toothpaste, all falling under the branding umbrella of the two aforemnetioned above.  What a joke.  Is this what they call competition? Free market?

Don't you ever wonder why these brands have warning labels on the back of the packaging, advising that children under 6 or 8 years of age should not swallow the toothpaste and if they do to call the poisons department?? Really? Isn't this stuff supposed to be good for us, I mean, it's cleaning our teeth, hygiene, all good things yeah? So why the advice about adult supervision, warnings and poison departments?

The sad truth of the matter is what I've been trying to tell those close to me and online for a very long time, 99% of toothpaste on the market is junk, toxic junk.  It contains chemicals in it that you wouldn't feed to your dog, for it you did, your dog would surely be dead. Most toothpastes contain fluoride and even boast about it on their packaging.  The sad fact of the matter is that fluoride is toxic, it is nothing more than a byproduct in the production of fertiliser.  There's no real market for toxic byproducts, so a LONG time ago, private corporation teamed up with governments (surprise surprise) and made a deal that they would forcibly medicate every single person against their will, in the public water supply and in sham's like toothpaste and dental care.

It should be noted that Fluoride is actually a fantastic cleaning agent, so effective that it is used to clean the inside of tankers amongst other industrial uses, but it does that job well because it is so toxic!  Putting it in your mouth, where it mixes with your saliva, whether it is swallowed or not, is NOT an effective method of cleaning ones teeth.  In actual fact, there are a lot of other side effects from ongoing ingestion of fluoride.  As a Harvard University 2012 study found, ongoing fluoride ingestion severely impacts the neurological development in children, effectively lowering their IQ. This is not a joke, read the study here.

Also for many years now, in spite of the research completed even prior to this Harvard study, I have stopped using the Colgate's and Macleans's of this world, for they are complete rubbish.  I am a huge advocate of the NATURAL herbal and mineral toothpaste called Grants, which contains so fluoride, no paragons, no sodium laurel sulphate or any other junk.  In fact, I can prove it right now:

Something you may not have even noticed on your toothpaste is that at the bottom of every tube of toothpaste, there is a colour.  You may have subconsciously seen it but thought nothing of it, but rest assured, everything has a reason.

The colour at the bottom of the tube is actually so important, it should be the first thing you see when you buy toothpaste! Here is the chart of what the colours mean:

All Toothpaste Bottom Colours

Green = Natural
Blue = Natural + Medicines
Red = Natural + Chemicals
Black = All Chemicals

Now, just to PROVE my point that not only the Grants toothpaste I purchase and use religiously is totally natural and safe, free from chemicals and medicines, I have taken a photo of both the packaging AND the tube and guess what, it is GREEN!

There is your proof.  Think twice about what you put in your trolley at the supermarket, think twice about what you put in yours and your children mouth and think twice about labelling someone as a Conspiracy Theorist simply because they relentlessly pursue the truth long after you've decided that it's all too hard.

Look for green and only green on the tube and you'll be doing yourself a world of good, with no chalky aftertaste at all (that's the fluoride).  Please share this far and wide, to your family, friends and anyone else who needs a good dose of raw, unadulterated truth!
